My name is Jean Pierre Etcheverry Jr. I am a first-generation American, a husband, a father, and a first responder who wants to ensure the thriving City of Cape Coral's bright future is maintained for my child and generations of Cape Coral residents to come. My focus is on water quality, infrastructure, public safety, and fiscal responsibility. While I have not been a career politician, I served the City of Cape Coral for 10 years as a first responder and have been working as an educator at Florida Southwestern State College for the last 7 years. Being the District 1 council member, with a Master’s in Public Administration, would broaden my ability to give back to the community that supported and encouraged me and my family. Working in such a team-oriented environment has enabled me to hone both innate and learned abilities that allow me to provide a unique first responder perspective to the council table and in serving the public. I have pride in my work and conduct myself with integrity, values I intended to be true to in all that I do for the City of Cape Coral. It will be an honor and a privilege to serve you and understand that being on the city council is a great civic responsibility.
